125 Cleanup Vessels Withdrawl Due to Toxic Fumes
I can see how the cleanup for DeepWater Horizon is going to be utterly impossible, not merely because of it’s unprecedented size, but also on account of the super-toxic chemicals dumped in to “disperse” the (already toxic) crude oil.
They’re dumping it from planes…
Spraying it from boats…
and just pouring the poisons, thousands of tons of them, from huge vats into the bitter sea…
It goes without saying that hanging out in these waters/fumes will probably get you a one-way ticket to the cancer ward. Already, personnel are getting ill and even the Coast Guard has said it’s not worth the death sentence.
“Six of the seven were brought to the Marrero, Louisiana, hospital Wednesday night by ambulance, and the seventh was flown in.
The Unified Command — a coalition of agencies including the U.S. Coast Guard, the Department of the Interior and the National Parks Service — said Wednesday it recalled 125 vessels from Breton Sound, which lies about 50 miles southeast of New Orleans.”
